Springtini helps Terry’s House spring forward

This planned 17,000 square-foot, two-story home for families to stay while their loved ones receive critical care is entirely dependent upon private gifts.
Live music, fashion and martinis were just a few reasons why more than 3,000 people attended Springtini 2009 on April 18. Another reason was to help generate funds to build Terry’s House, a convenient and affordable place for families to stay while their loved ones receive critical care at Community Regional Medical Center.

This year’s Springtini helped raise money for Terry’s House with help from HiS Magazine/1430 ESPN Radio and The Shakers of Community Medical Foundation. The Shakers are a group of young professionals who raise funds, build awareness, educate and promote the health status of the Valley for the Community hospital system.

“The benefits of having Terry’s House for our Valley are endless,” said Vincent Ricchiuti, president of The Shakers. “We have an opportunity to help families during a difficult time.”

This year's Springtini was the biggest and best to date, he said.

“We had a phenomenal event and it totally exceeded our expectations,” said Chris Pacheco, owner and operator of Fat Dawgs 7 Broadcasting. “This was an awesome event for The Shakers and they will be the recipient of a generous donation.”

HiS Magazine/1430 ESPN Radio and The Shakers also will be teaming up for Falltini 2009 in October and hope to raise even more money to help build and maintain Terry’s House.
