8 is great for Clovis Community baby
Before 08-08-08, mom and dad never dreamed their daughter would be born on a date that many Americans are buzzing about as the starting day of the Olympics in Beijing, China. And when Randy Patton brought his wife into Clovis Community Medical Center to have their baby, they were amazed the angelic infant was born at 8:08 a.m., on 08-08-08 and weighed in at 8 pounds.
Proud father Randy says his daughter wasn’t scheduled for a few more days and he was on his way out of town. But before he could leave, his wife told him baby Skylar was coming, and the rest is a story to talk about for decades.
It’s something Randy said he and his family will never forget.
“It was just her time to come and she did,” Randy said. “I just couldn’t believe it.”
