Health Care Heroes: Jolie Browar

Jolie Browar

They are at the patient’s side during the most joyous times in life such as the birth of a child. They are also there as the patient faces a serious illness, offering a smile and skilled hand when patients need it the most.

They are the roughly 1,700 men and women who make up Community Medical Centers’ nursing staff. They all are health care heroes with one goal in mind, to help patients get back to their loved ones and resume their normal lives

As a way to celebrate the recent National Nurses Week, this is the fifth installment of a series of “Health Care Heroes” who describe their profession and why they chose it.

This week, meet registered nurse Jolie Browar from Community Behavioral Health Center. She would like to see more new nurses enter the field she has found so rewarding for more than two decades.
